Learn to Lead Kirtan Immersion Course
22 March – 3 May 2026 · London · 50 hours
7 Sundays (10:00–17:00) + 2 Integration Days (Fridays 10 April & 1 May)
A small, intimate training for yoga teachers, healers, therapists, meditation & sound practitioners who want to confidently use voice, harmonium, rhythm and mantra to hold sacred space and bring people together.
Group size is intentionally small (12 places).
Application deadline: 19 February 2026.
We currently have 5 people booked, with 7 spaces remaining.
Is this you?
- You already hold space (classes, circles, ceremonies, workshops) and feel the call to lead chanting.
- You want musical foundations that feel doable – simple harmonium, rhythm, and how to start.
- You love kirtan but feel held back by confidence, voice blocks, or the fear of being seen.
- You want a devotional path that deepens your yoga/meditation practice beyond asana.
If so, we’d love to welcome you into this 7-week immersion – a practical, heart-led training in the foundations of leading kirtan.
Course Description
This is a unique opportunity to explore all the elements of kirtan leadership with Nikki Slade in an accessible format. The training weaves technique and devotion: learning how to lead musically, and learning how to hold a room with presence, humility and heart.

- Those looking for a casual drop-in (this is a committed immersion with practice between sessions)
- People who can’t attend the required weeks (see attendance note below)
- If you’re currently navigating intense instability, we recommend 1:1 support instead (see entry requirements)

Testimonials from previous participants
Carmen Frutos, Financier
This is not just about learning Kirtan but being in the Kirtan itself. I got to embrace the good, the bad and the ugly and I got to connect with my devotion so much deeper than before. This is a great step to take to grow. Highly recommended.
Lindsay Easten, Yoga teacher
It was so transformative and so much more than I thought it would be. I thought I was going to be learning mantras but it truly is becoming an emodiment of the deity.
Papu Jordan, Reiki Healer- Soundhealer
Now it was amazing. I expected it to be amazing but the course entered a whole other dimension beyond my expectations. it was energising, fun and enriching.
Louise Murray, Business Woman
It was the most incredible six weeks. I have gained so much. As someone who does not consider mysefl a singer, I had a massive breakthrough in singing in front of others.
