Cheshire – An evening of Devotional Chanting

A unique opportunity to join Nikki Slade for an evening of Kirtan ‘chanting from the heart’ in Leek, Staffordshire.

Chanting opens the heart uplift’s the spirit and helps us to connect with the still calm voice within. It dissolves barriers and empowers us to express our true nature.

Through the devotional nature of this practice known as bhakti we experience the ultimate reality which is divine Love.

Kirtan which means to Sing/ Praise the Name originated in Southern India in 6 century AD through the poet saint movement.

You dont have to be a singer to chant all you need is your heart and your devotion which deepens over time.

Nikki will be accompanied by talented tabla and rhythm player Tom Shanti and additional percussion by Sarah Jane.
